For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to not only care for animals, but protect them too! In 2019, I graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Criminology. At this time, I volunteered with Animal Justice, Canada's National Animal Law Advocacy Organization. To this day, I continue to support  animal lawyers and their work to strengthen animal laws.

In my spare time, I love to explore new parks and trails with my dogs, bake, read novels, and travel! Speaking of travel, I've made it my personal goal to always make time to help animals abroad; in Dubai, I volunteered at a rescue to walk dogs at sunset (the coolest part of the day), in Phuket, Thailand I volunteered for Soi Dog Foundation where I helped take care of dogs and cats that were rescued from the meat trade; and in Mexico, I helped release baby turtles into the ocean in an effort to contribute to their conservation.

Something I take most pride in is my volunteer days at Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary in Ontario, Canada. There, I spent most of my days giving pigs belly rubs, watching cows frolic in the pastures, and being pawed at by sheep if I dared to stop petting their soft heads. Forever grateful for farm sanctuaries that give these often overlooked animals a second chance in life!

Now settled in Alberta, I'm excited I have the opportunity to work alongside furbabies every day at Deer Park Pet Hospital!
